On a distance of 5.3 kilometres, the Inzell Moorland Adventure Trail invites to a special expedition.

Go on a journey through time -  12,000 year back into the past. Back into a time when the endless glaciers of the last ice age slowly melted off and our ancestors had been tracking down the gigantic mammoth. On this time travel you can experience the birth of the "Inzeller Filze" and see how by the power of a single plant the soil is lifted and moorland is formed!

The moorland expedition - how does the secret peat bog work? What is a bog pond? Are there any carnivorous plants? On this moor expeditions you'll have the opportunity of getting to know the "Inzeller Filzen" and its habitants. Just like in the old times! In a small peat-ditch you can try to form a peat brick out of the moor soil.

There are more than 20 experience and information boards to be explored!
