Who really wants to beaver away has to go up, onto the Rauschberg, the Teisenberg or the Gamsknogel. More than 3000 kilometres of mountainbike trails can be found in and around Inzell. The highlight: From Inzell across the Winklmoosalm to Ruhpolding and back: 66 kilometres, 985 metres in altitude. Up to 18 % grade. This also means: Stunning routes, cosy alpine cabins, surprising views.

Especially ambitious bikers challenge their stamina on the Chiemgau MTB marathon route between Inzell, Ruhpolding, Reit im Winkl, Bergen, Schneizlreuth and Siegsdorf. A change between crisp climbs and racy descents, steep serpentines, forest roads and stoney woodland paths. The reward is on the way: Icy cold tarns to cool off and cosy lodges and inns to stop by.
