Which tree becomes 600 years old? How many animals live in a dead tree? How far can a wild boar jump? Explorers of all ages find out about nature's secrets at the mountain forest adventure trail.

The idea: Feeling, smelling ,seeing, hearing, tasting the forest. Competing with hares and roe deer in the longjump. Sticking the toes into the icy cold water of the Frillenseebach and guessing the water temperature. Playing a wooden organ. Or feeling blindfolded different types of soil like moss, bark and pebbles under the feet.

The route: Starting at the Forsthaus Adlgaß 3.5 kilometres through woodlands to the Frillensee. Passing scenic clearings, along a gurgling mountain stream, following the fire salamander. It shows the way to 19 experience and information boards.

The complete round - from the Forsthaus Adlgaß to the Frillensee and back - is six kilometres. The "explorer tour" takes about two to three hours.
